CurioKits Flappy-do – Replacement STL File (Version 2)

About CurioKits 

CurioKits designs playful machines inspired by nature. Hands-on kinetic sculpture kits that you build, customize, and bring to life. The Flappy-do is our first conflaption, and we’re excited to share this updated component with our maker community. 

Why This File Exists 

This part is designed to replace a wearable or high-friction section of your Flappy-do that may loosen or wear out over time. To keep your conflaption flapping strong, we’re making this STL available for free. 

Version 2 has been improved for durability and printability — it’s stronger than anything that has come before it. 

Recommended Print Settings 

Material: 

- Designed for PETG filament (recommended for strength and flexibility). - Compatible with PLA and ABS as alternate materials. 

Printer Settings: 

- Wall Thickness: 2 walls - Infill: 15% - Print Speed: 25% for the first layer for best adhesion and surface quality. - Standard print speed for remaining layers once adhesion is secure.
